Conditions
Tricuspid Regurgitation
Tricuspid regurgitation occurs when the tricuspid valve does not close properly, allowing blood to flow backward. Significant tricuspid regurgitation can contribute to swelling in the legs or abdomen, fatigue, shortness of breath, and other symptoms. For selected patients, TriClip™ is a minimally invasive, catheter-based procedure designed to bring the valve leaflets closer together and reduce the backward flow of blood.
