Dr. Akel and Dr. Patel have taken advanced training in the field of cardiology and have met the requirements for certification in the specialty of Interventional Cardiology. Conditions evaluated during a consultation include: chest pains, arrhythmias, post myocardial infarction, post bypass/valve surgery, post stents, congestive heart failure, pacemakers, ICD implants, uncontrolled hypertension, valvular heart disease, syncope, dyslipidemia, and pre-operative evaluations.
